Who handles your data

What we process and why
Company check and the "your company" section. We record the company code, and your email address if you ask for the report by email. To rate-limit requests we store a hash of your IP address and browser, not the IP address itself. Basis: your request and our legitimate interest in protecting the service from abuse (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b) and (f)).
Requests on /valdytojas. We record the company code, your email and your note in our customer list so we can reply. Basis: steps before entering a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).
Business correspondence. We write to companies using business contacts they publish (public registers and company websites). Basis: legitimate interest and Article 81(1) of the Lithuanian Law on Electronic Communications. You can opt out at any time by replying "unsubscribe"; we keep the opt-out permanently so we never write again.
Customer apps (at <name>.apps.northwesternsolutions.org). Data inside these apps is processed by us as a processor, on the customer's instructions and under our contract with them.
Where data is stored
Our servers run in the Hetzner Online GmbH data centre in Helsinki, Finland (EU).
AI and transfers outside the EU
Some providers, including AI model providers, operate outside the EU, and data reaches them under their contractual terms. The company-check model receives only public register data and the company's public website text, never your personal data. If your contract requires AI processing to stay in the EU, we agree an EU region separately.
How long we keep it
As long as needed to provide or protect the service or to run the business relationship. Opt-outs are kept permanently. You can ask us to delete your data at any time.
Your rights
You can access, correct or delete your data, restrict or object to its processing (always, for direct marketing), and ask to port it. Write to hello@northwesternsolutions.org. You may complain to the Lithuanian State Data Protection Inspectorate (vdai.lrv.lt).
